Alayna Bowman knows a thing or two about spray tans. A natural redhead, she’s had great ones—and terrible ones. She knows the secret to a good spray tan is working with someone who listens to your needs, considers your skin tone and coloring, and delivers an individualized experience designed to enhance your natural beauty. She’s brought that knowledge and
experience to Glow, Girl! in Park Circle, and she’s excited to share it with you.
“I’ve always been a girl’s girl and loved helping my friends get ready and feel their best,” she says. “This business felt like a natural extension of that.” Her mobile spray-tanning service gives her the opportunity to come to you—whether you’re at home, in a hotel, or at an Airbnb—to create an experience that’s elevated yet comfortable. “Almost like your best friend showed up to
save the day,” she adds. Bowman wants to know why you’re getting your tan and, more importantly, how you want to feel when it’s done. “A bride getting ready for her wedding may want something completely different from someone heading on a girls’ trip who wants to be really tan,” she says. “I use color theory, quality products, and a lot of conversation to figure out what makes sense for each client.”
It’s a specially curated experience you won’t get at your average spray tan salon—and it comes to you, wherever you are. For Bowman, that’s an important part of making spray tanning feel like self-care, a concept that has taken on new meaning since she became a mother. “Sometimes just getting out the door for something you want to do for yourself feels like a chore,” she says. “I wanted to bring the service to my clients without making it feel like they were sacrificing the experience for convenience.”
That personal connection is at the heart of Glow, Girl! “I want clients to feel like they can trust me, talk to me, and tell me what they really want,” Bowman says. “If you want something different or your tan didn’t turn out the way you hoped, I want you to tell me. I’ll work with you to get it right.”
At the end of the day, Bowman wants to be the person you text before your wedding, vacation, bachelorette weekend, first date—or any other occasion when you want to feel just a little extra good. With Glow, Girl!, she’s ready to help you get there.
