CreativeMornings is where accessibility, connection, and creativity meet

Plus, get details on their November 21 gathering—sponsored by Fig Magazine Charleston.

At CreativeMornings, the theme for November 2025 is GROWTH.

“Creativity demands growth. Not the kind that can be measured with a ruler. It’s about taking stock of your character. Who’s ready to chase wild possibilities and meaningful progress? We must unlearn the need to be perfect and busy. Remember how to play and get our hands dirty again.”

CreativeMornings is a global community of creative professionals who meet once a month for free breakfast lectures. Founded in 2008 in New York City by Tina Roth Eisenberg, the events feature short talks from local speakers across various creative fields, centered around a monthly theme. These gatherings aim to inspire, educate, and foster community among creatives.

The events are open to everyone, focusing on accessibility, connection, and creativity. CreativeMornings has grown to cities around the world, providing a space for networking and personal growth while encouraging people from all backgrounds to participate and contribute.

About CreativeMornings

CreativeMornings is the world’s largest creative community—hosting local chapter events in cities around the world every Friday, Virtual FieldTrips every week, and job postings and company profiles via the CreativeGuild.

Their Story

In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone.

Today, attendees gather in cities around the world and online via Virtual FieldTrips to enjoy creative inspiration and meaningful connections.

Charleston CreativeMornings: A kick ass town by the water, voted #1 city in the world by Travel + Leisure, and with accolades to match in the creative community. They are here to show the world they are not just a food mecca, but an amazing community with some real creative chops. They strive to put the people that make this a #1 city in the spotlight.

Fig Magazine Charleston is proud to sponsor the November 21st Creative Mornings gathering, which happens to have an amazing featured speaker in Jordan Amaker (Lowcountry Local First).

Jordan Amaker believes deeply in the power of local-independent businesses to shape a place and to drive community wealth and connection. She believes that an economy should work for all, and sees policy as a tool to ensure the economic landscape serves those rooted in this place. Jordan became Lowcountry Local First’s Director of Advocacy & Communications in 2024 after serving 8 years as Director of Marketing for the organization.

The CreativeMornings Manifesto, in their words:

Everyone is creative.

A creative life requires bravery and action, honesty and hard work. We are here to support you, celebrate with you, and encourage you to make the things you love.

We believe in the power of community. We believe in giving a damn. We believe in face-to-face connections, in learning from others, in hugs and high fives.

We bring together people who are driven by passion and purpose, confident that they will inspire one another, and inspire change in neighborhoods and cities around the world.

Everyone is welcome.
