Lowcountry Nosh: Jewish Food and Heritage Festival
November 9 @ 11:30 am – 4:30 pm

Now in its 11th year, the Nosh welcomes the entire Charleston community to to experience Jewish food, music and culture! Learn about KKBE’s rich history and unique contributions to Reform Judaism as you stroll down Hasell Street (where traffic is reserved for pedestrians only). Thousands of people attend every year, and each Nosh is bigger than the last!
Food options, purchased with credit card, include New York kosher-style corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, homemade stuffed cabbage, knishes, hot dogs, bagels, lox and cream cheese, chopped liver, baked goods, challah, matzo ball soup and Dr. Brown’s sodas. All proceeds from the event benefit the historic synagogue.
But the Nosh is more than just food! Local Klezmer group, The Kleztonians, provides traditional live music for the event, and tours of KKBE’s historic sanctuary are available throughout the day. Be sure to stop by the Kid Zone, designed to provide enriching activities for younger participants.
