Charleston Wine + Food: 20 years and going strong
The festival continues to positively impact Lowcountry.
It’s staggering to fathom the local and regional impact fostered by Charleston Wine + Food. Start with these numbers: For the past 19 years, the Charleston Wine + Food Festival has welcomed more than 420,000 attendees and generated more than $210.7 million in economic impact for the Lowcountry.
But that’s just the beginning. Charleston Wine + Food is deeply rooted in building a sustainable, vibrant, and connected culinary and hospitality community.

To that end, its parent foundation, CHSWF Culinary and Hospitality Foundation, uses virtually all of its money to create and sustain a wide array of innovative programs that support:
- Workforce readiness for high school, college, and adult learners—including programs that teach skills to aspiring hospitality workers of all ages and provides scholarships for those programs
- Sustainability initiatives around responsible food sourcing and waste management
- Community partnerships that help those in need
All of these efforts point to one goal: Creating opportunity and access to one of Charleston’s critical economic and cultural drivers—the culinary and hospitality industry.
The 2026 festival runs from March 4-8 and celebrates the 20th anniversary of CHSWF with five delicious days of can’t-miss events, chef collaborations, demos, and new experiences.
Each ticket sold supports the Foundation and its mission, so we can all contribute to keeping Charleston a global food destination by supporting the people and businesses who make it go.
Tickets for all events are on sale now.
