Can we see a show of hands from all the people out there who find that issues in their personal lives are also affecting their businesses?… The reality is that this is a common dynamic, and that’s where Roberta Moore, The EQ-i Coach, comes in.
Moore spent many years working in corporate and public accounting before becoming a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Ten years into her private LMFT practice, she found herself missing the business world. At the same time, she began noticing a common thread among her clients: the personal issues they were experiencing in their home lives often mirrored the issues they were facing in their business lives.
She wanted to find a way to bring cognitive behavioral-type skills into the workplace. She remembered how impactful learning emotional intelligence skills had been in her own life and work. That realization led her to become certified in the EQ-i 2.0 and leadership development, and to launch her Executive Coaching Services.
Her mission is to help leaders understand that they don’t have to be aggressive to have influence in business. As Moore puts it, “You don’t have to be a jerk to be a good leader anymore. Being warm and firm is the way to influence and lead people. You can be stronger through gentleness.”
Moore understands how corporations and small businesses work and has deep insight into what drives human behavior. She’s highly intuitive, taking a deep dive into her clients’ emotions to help them figure out how to break free from the behaviors that have kept them stuck for years.
As an Executive Coach, Moore practices what she preaches. She lives and breathes her own work. She knows from personal experience that developing EQ skills absolutely changes lives, because it changed hers.
So, if you’re looking for a “unicorn” who has experience in both numbers and emotions, someone who speaks fluent Spreadsheets and fluent Feelings, your search is over.
